Terms & Conditions

The terms governing your use of Invitorio, including accounts, subscriptions, QR activation, Stripe payments, user content and liability.

Last updated: 2026-07-16

1. Introduction & Acceptance

Welcome to Invitorio, operated by E.G.M. Inter-Quantum Investments Ltd ("Invitorio", "we", "us"). Invitorio is a platform for creating interactive, digital and printable invitation cards for events.

By creating an account, accessing the service or publishing an invitation, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the service.

These Terms apply to all users, including account holders and guests who interact with published invitations (for example by submitting an RSVP).

2. User Accounts

You must be at least 16 years old, or have the consent of a legal guardian, to create an account.

You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

You agree to provide accurate information when registering, including a valid email address, and to keep it up to date.

Accounts are personal and may not be transferred or sold.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Invitorio to:

  • Create, store or publish unlawful, defamatory, harassing, hateful or infringing content;
  • Upload material you do not have the rights to use;
  • Collect guest data through deceptive invitations or for purposes guests have not consented to;
  • Attempt to access, disrupt or reverse-engineer the platform, its servers or other users' data;
  • Use the service to send spam or unsolicited communications;
  • Circumvent activation, payment or hosting controls.

We may suspend or remove content that breaches these rules and may terminate accounts for serious or repeated violations.

4. Purchases, Subscriptions & QR Activation

Invitorio invitations are digital products. Creating and editing a draft is free. To publish an invitation with a permanent public URL, QR code and online event page, you activate a hosting subscription.

Subscription periods available are 1, 3, 6 and 12 months. The selected period determines how long your invitation remains publicly accessible and how long the QR code resolves to your event page.

QR activation links a scannable code printed on your card to your invitation's public event page. The QR remains functional for the duration of your active subscription; once a subscription expires, the QR may redirect to a generic page or stop resolving.

Each activation applies to a single invitation project. Prices and available plans are shown at checkout and may change over time; prices already paid are not affected by later changes.

5. Payment Processing

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Invitorio does not store your full card number or banking details — these are handled directly by Stripe under its own compliance standards (PCI-DSS).

By making a purchase you authorize Stripe to charge the selected amount to your payment method. Invoices and receipts are issued by Stripe or the applicable billing entity.

For questions about a charge, contact us at info@invitorio.com. For disputes or chargebacks, Stripe's dispute process applies.

6. Refund Policy

Our refund rules are detailed in the Refund Policy. Because invitations are digital products delivered immediately, refunds are generally limited to the cases described there (for example, where activation has not yet been used or where required by EU consumer law).

7. User-Generated Content

You may upload and create content through Invitorio, including event information, guest information, RSVP responses, uploaded images, uploaded videos and voice recordings.

You confirm that you own or have permission to use all content you upload, and that you have any consents required from identifiable people (especially in photos and videos) and from your guests.

You are responsible for the lawfulness of the data you collect through RSVP forms and event pages, including providing guests with appropriate information under the GDPR. Invitorio acts as your data processor for content you create.

We may remove content that is unlawful, infringing, or reported as abusive after review.

Voice recordings, photos and videos you upload are stored to display on your invitations and event pages. They are deleted when you delete the project or your account, or when the retention period ends.

8. Intellectual Property

The Invitorio platform, including its software, templates, editor, graphics, animations, logo and brand, is owned by E.G.M. Inter-Quantum Investments Ltd and protected by copyright and trademark law. See our Copyright & IP page for details.

You retain ownership of the invitations and content you create, subject to the license you grant us to host and display them as needed to operate the service.

9. Service Availability

We strive to keep Invitorio available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, updates and events outside our control may cause downtime.

Public invitation URLs are served during active subscriptions only. We are not liable for access issues caused by expired subscriptions.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Invitorio and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of the service.

Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 6 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under EU/Cyprus law (for example, liability for gross negligence or willful misconduct).

11. Termination

You may delete your projects and account at any time from My Profile. Deleting a project removes its public URL, QR and event page.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, remain unpaid, or pose a risk to the service or other users.

On termination, your right to host invitations ends; content may be deleted in line with our retention periods.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Cyprus, without prejudice to your mandatory consumer rights under EU law.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. When we do, we increase the version and, where the change is material, require you to re-accept on your next login. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.

14. Contact
